In order to be able to view Chinese characters through your Web browser, you have either to be operating under Chinese Windows, or if operating under regular (English) Windows, you need to download the necessary software.

1.  If you have Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (IE5) or America Online, open your browser. Start with View from the main menu, and click on Encoding.   Make sure that Auto Select is selected.  Then when you open our Chinese webpage, Internet Explorer will automatically download the necessary fonts to enable you to read Chinese.
